KELSO OFF TO SARATOGA TOMORROW MORNING...

...will be gone a few days. Besides, K is fighting a terrible summer cold, fever, flu, whatever. Not much blogging or posting in store. Just there to root on THE SCARLET KNIGHT OF MOSCOW's Take The Bluff and my own Southern Sass.

Following the return of the native, work begins in earnest, Kelso must resolve some personal matters involving dwelling. There may be international travel for depressing reasons, and distant intra-national travel for reasons both good and bad. The blogging and commenting crap has to go.

So, taking my cue from someone who does a better blog than this, AnitaXanaxNow, it's hasta luego.

It's all been too distracting anyway and has forced Kelso to read the wretched New York Times all too often. There were some good sports opinions here from time-to-time, including but not limited to UT over USC for all the marbles and a very negative pre-race Preakness opinion on Barbaro. We predicted that David Brooks had a dog in the fight over the alleged rape of a stripper by some Blue Devil Lacrosse players. We predicted that the ouster of Tom DeLay would be horrible for gambling. We saw off the odious McManus. And got to see Ned Lamont beat Joe Lieberman in CT primary.

This blog sucks cock anyway. We are Cartesians here endeavor to prove what we can. Here's the proof. Never get any visitors nor any comments. As the content is usually as offensive as can be, using Occam's Razor, Kelso has determined that the main reason for this is the simplest one: the writing's horrible, boring or both.

Well, Kell,

In my perhaps mildly irritating dilatory manner, I have reached the conclusion that the Israeli government should be the sitting government in Lebanon for a long time.

Its the Hezbollah, really. While the Israel government is in Beirut, the security situation will jell in a positive way, in my opinion.

I'll try to catch your horses at Saratoga on the Live Video.

Have a nice autumn.
