it's a good one alright...i really wanted to put STIFF LITTLE FINGERS's' "Is That What You Fought The War For?" up as well but that one is so obscure youtube doesn't even have it. Ok, now in search of Richie Havens's "Handsome Johnny" as the second anti-war tune for today.

Mauigirl. You are correct. Eric Bogle's version is also available on Youtube but there's some sort of posting restriction on it and I sort of like the MacGowan version just a bit better anyway.
