Sadly, the man knows of what he speaks. Just over a year ago it wasn't like this. It was perfectly normal. In New Latin America as everywhere else in the world, though, it's a badge of honor and a source of comradeship. I don't know you, JJ, but I too wear the panuelta and a "go on, my son!" de mi parte, desde locales donde los apuestos son y seran vacano.

Just because I wear the sunglasses and a panuleta and bet sports doesn't mean I've lost ALL TOUCH with my essential humanity. I like the shore and boardwalk very much. But, I still need something like, oh, a horse I own running at Monmouth and a big pick-6 carryover to sandwich a few days down the shore NOT betting in good company.
