KELSO AWAY IN LV ON BUSINESS FRI THRU TUE NITE
Any and all guest bloggers happily invited to sub. "G", "Harvey," "Anonymous FB," "Pissedemeanor," and "Dremachine" this means you.
Been very windy on all sorts of subjects lately, so let's be short and parochial (perfect description of Kelso!) and focus on one of our favorite villains: Robert Iler, "A.J. Soprano". Mr. Iler's night-crawling directly led to the raid and closure of one of NYC's finest card and games clubs, Ace Point. Players lost all their money as thousands of dollars of AP chips became effectively counterfeited when the cops seized all the money and tossed the chips in the air and on the floor like a bunch of children. A number of very nice, dedicated employees, paying their way through college or grad school or just supplementing their income, spent time in jail, and ditto the one or two players who got their IDs run and taken in because of outstanding warrants (no angels, to be sure) were not bad folks as it goes.
And please spare Kelso the crap about the rule-of-law or tropes like "laws not men".
And what happened to the hideous Robert Iler, a spoiled little brat with a far worse real criminal record than even those that got run? According to today's Tissue, he GOT A FUCKING ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH ONE OF THE OFF-SHORE SPORTSBOOKS because of his just being there when the raid which he precipitated went down and hit the tabloids hard. Fuck me. A repulsive little shit who was not a member of the club he buried gets rewarded and the employees and customers of something of a Manhattan institution get screwed. Put it down on record, Kelso hates all celebrities, and as good as The Sopranos is, it's going to be very hard for Kelso to watch this show now without getting sick to his stomach.
Here's some happy poltical news: Pinnacle Sports just put up a price on the Pennsylvania Senate race and Robert Casey, Jr., is a -$1.30 FAVORITE over Satan Santorum! It's a cliche by now, but markets whether futures or outright are much better predictors of election results than polls are, so this may be fun.
